Founded in 1945, the Federation of American Scientists provides science-based analysis of and solutions to protect against catastrophic threats to national and international security. The FAS Nuclear Information Project provides a snapshot view of different nuclear-armed countries, looking into global weapons programs as well as their effect on national security issues.
